Country Wedding Style

When Phil & Juliette planned their wedding they wanted a glorious country wedding day, a laid back feel with plenty of florals. Following the service at Chiddingstone Castle, guests had a short bus ride to the couple’s home where a bunting lined walk led to the field next to their house. A fabulous marquee and glamping bell tents were laid out on the lawn.

At our first meeting Juliette declared,
”You simply can’t have enough bunting!”

In addition to hiring our beautiful handmade country set, Juliette’s bridesmaids hung meters upon meters of bunting around the reception setting.

We chose vintage crockery and champagne coupes for place settings, along with lavender sprigs with name tags placed on our gingham napkins to add to the country look the couple wanted.

Juliette’s table plan was set in suitcases filled with gypsophelia matched to little cards on each table and then displayed on our table top easels. Florist in the Forest added beautiful seasonal blooms in cut glass vases and single stems.

Phil & Juliette’s choice of a traditional marquee provided the perfect backdrop for the theme. The LPM Bohemia marquee was lined with the hand painted chinoiserie design.

Other stand out pieces included our vintage tandem bike with a basket filled with flowers by our in-house florist, rustic ladders to display personal photographs and lanterns added to the straw bale seating added country charm for guests enjoying the sunshine and catching up over drinks.

Urban Pantry served up their amazing dishes which fuelled guests to dance the night away and recount the day by the fire.
